As seniors we were recently faced with making a life-changing decision. We had the challenge of moving from a house we had lived in for 35 years to a right size accommodation. We found the perfect Condominium Townhouse that we fell in love with at first sight. This set us on the journey of where to begin.
We were encouraged to contact Senior’s Move and Bethany and Greg helped us through where to start, how to go about decluttering and what to expect in the future as time came close to moving to our new home.
When we agreed to the contract, it was not only for the day of the move, but Greg also made calls to make sure we were OK and moving forward or if he could send a couple from his team to assist us. This personal contact not only gave us reassurance we were on the right track, but that we were not alone if we needed help.
As the big day moved closer and the team came to assess what was required in packing and moving it all became overwhelming and real. Bethany was so supportive emotionally and let us know all the feelings we were experiencing were normal. The team that came to pack, headed by Deanna, was amazing. They took care of our belongings as if they were their own. Deanna was there every step of the way to monitor not only our belongings but us as well.
Moving Day was hectic but kept on track by Deanna and her team. We were fortunate to have Bethany and Greg visit us in our new home and even then, they had ideas to make life easier as we go.

Symplicated Senior’s Move recently completed a full service project to move my very elderly aunt to her new suite in a seniors’ residence. The entire process took 3 months due to downsizing requirements and my aunt’s health-related challenges. From our first meeting with Bethany and Deanna (project manager) it was clear we were working with a top notch mover. As my aunt and I worked through the project and interacted with Greg as well, I was continually delighted with their approach which was an amazing fusion of professionalism, integrity and genuine caring warmth.
Deanna is just an outstanding project manager: highly skilled in organization, time management, inventory, layout/design, rightsizing, planning, flexibility and execution as well as in interpersonal qualities for dealing compassionately with someone like my aunt during what would otherwise have been a stressful rightsizing endeavour.
Greg, Bethany, Deanna and other workers I met all shared a set of common traits of responsiveness, authentic kindness and a total willingness to do anything to make the move as smooth as possible. They felt like my best friends or neighbours or even family in their warm approach to their work. Clearly they love their work and their customers.
Literally, there is not one thing I could have asked to be done better. They met or exceeded expectations at every step along the way. Pricing was fair/reasonable and competitive. I could not be happier with my selection of Symplicated to move my aunt or with the work they delivered and the support we received. My aunt and I received exceptionally high value from this outstanding company. A 5-star rating does not do justice to a one-of-a-kind business of such extraordinary calibre.

Senior’s Move helped my Mum move to her new home in a retirement residence. Their services started with a personal visit where they assessed my Mum’s current and future spaces, sharing advice on downsizing and what furniture would fit in her new home. They were flexible and collaborated with us on a customized move plan which included some items being delivered to other family members’ homes as well as consignment and donation centers.
The packing and move days went exactly as planned and my Mum’s new spot was unpacked and set up with all her treasured pieces just where they needed to be. The team went the extra mile to make Mum’s new space feel immediately like home which was just so comforting. It was evident the whole team was really looking out for Mum and tried to make the experience as stress-free as possible. Greg and Deanna have just completed another move for us, packing up my mother’s belongings from her retirement home and moving them into storage while she is in hospital and awaits a bed in long-term-care. Greg and Deanna took great care of all the details and packed my mom’s stuff in a mindful way. Greg even visited my mom’s place in the retirement home ahead of time to provide a recommendation on the size of a storage unit we would need. After the move Greg and Deanna also delivered a couple items to a friend and took several remaining items for donation, taking nothing to the landfill!

We highly recommend this company for your moving needs! From start to finish, the Seniors’ Move team were professional, caring, patient and efficient. Greg and Carol clearly explaining the variety of services they provide and gave us plenty of time to determine what met our needs. Communication during the lead up to moving day was excellent, and staff arrived as scheduled.
The team was amazing in their work ethic, on schedule for delivery to the new location, polite and friendly, and very careful with our possessions. The packing of items was amazing – not one thing damaged! Moving of large objects was carefully executed at both sites.
Overall, the huge stress of moving was managed perfectly, thanks to their attention to detail.
